Centering and Grounding

We all feel stress sometimes! At this point in time with all that is going on, you might find yourself feeling stress and/or overwhelm frequently.

When you are going through a difficult life event, transition, loss, or even just the day-to-day stresses of life, feeling “grounded” (connected firmly to the Earth) and “centered” (in and aware of your heart space and body) is very important. Soothing your body and your nervous system is an important step in helping your mind, body, and spirit not get swept-up in the agitation of stress.

Some of the ways you could consider helping your system do this include:

Gentle exercise, get outside and walk barefoot, take a warm bath, laugh, focus on your breath for a few minutes, create a safe warm and cozy space for yourself and spend time there, listen to soothing music, eat a healthy meal, visualize yourself being tethered to the center of the earth with a thick cord and bring that soothing earth energy up into your body.

Remaining centered and grounded is very important for managing stress and life challenges. Any healthful and proactive way that you can bring your attention back into your body and then connect with Earth is a good thing!

If you would like to develop an individualized grounding and centering practice and routine that fits with your values and life rhythms, book a single session appointment with me, and I will send you an email to schedule it!

I struggled to ground and center properly for years, once I was properly instructed and had the chance to practice, it helped change my life! I would love to help you experience the power of this, too!
